University Health Network encompasses the Toronto General and Toronto Western hospitals, the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, and The Michener Institute of Education at UHN. It’s the largest hospital-based research program in Canada, with major research in cardiology, transplantation, neurosciences, oncology, surgical innovation, infectious diseases, genomic medicine and rehabilitation medicine.
We’ve had friends and family go through some tough battles with both physical and mental health. In one way or another, everyone found a level of care at a UHN facility that helped them immensely.
As Toronto natives, it only seemed right to give back to not only the network of institutions that were in our backyard and helped our loved ones, but one that’s leading the charge for our entire country’s ambitious health and recovery programs.
